Pastor Jana Howson

Pr. Jana is an ordained pastor in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Raised in Canada, she came to the U.S. for her undergraduate degree, and followed her call to ministry here in Illinois. Though she grew up in the United Church of Canada, her family is Finnish, so serving in the Lutheran Church is returning to family roots. She has served at United Lutheran in Gardner, Illinois, and at Faith Lutheran since the fall of 2017.

Elaine grew up in Chicago where she sang in school choirs, religious, rock, and blues bands. She has worked in the religious/non-profit industry for over 30 years. Elaine feels that being here, at Faith, will further grow her love of G-d, not only through the work she does, but also through the many amazing people she encounters here!
